Our termly eading cafes have grown to be a real success of our school! We have 100's of parents visiting us across the week to read with their children and enjoy a tea or coffee with us!

Reading at home

At The Crescent, we absolutely love reading! We encourage every child to read at least 5 times a week at home.  This helps children be more confident in their own reading ability and enables them to make progress across the curriculum.

• Increases general knowledge
• Increases vocabulary
