At the Crescent Primary School we think it is important that children, staff and families are supported with their mental and physical health and overall wellbeing.
Take a look at our Supporting Families Padlet to provide guidance in a range of areas.
We have two full time Emotional Literacy Support Assistants (ELSA) - Mrs Eldridge and Mrs Gigg.
Mrs Eldridge Mrs Gigg
They offer targeted support one to one or in a small group.
Mrs Preston is our Designated Mental Health lead.
At our school we want all children to:
- Feel confident in themselves
- Be able to express a range of emotions appropriately
- Be able to make and maintain positive relationships with others
- Cope with the stresses of every day life
- Manage times of stress and be able to deal with change
- Learn and achieve.
We are not mental health professionals but we can support your child in school and signpost to additional agencies that may be appropriate.
